InBali, located only 596 miles (960 km) South of the equator where the atmosphere is at its thickest, the sun appears even redder than farther South or North of the equator. Science!!! I loved seeing the sun get redder and redder as it lowered in the sky each day. I was able to get some great shots at the beach with the boats in the foreground. Standing amidst the sea waters, the Island is blessed with hoards of attractive places comprising of beaches, resorts, cliffs and the famous 'Blue Lagoon'. While the scenic beauties popping of the Nusa Ceningan NUSACENINGAN is noted for stormy bays which may have small sections of sand - often hard to reach and often covered at full tide. The island is not noted for beaches. So SECRET BEACH may well be the best on CENINGAN. However that is not to say it is a great stretch of silica; it wouldn't rate in my top 20 of BALI'S BEST BEACHES - a few Thereare three Nusa islands and they're easy to reach via a short ferry ride from Bali. Nusa Ceningan is the smallest, nestled between Lembongan and Penida. While it's not nearly as popular as Nusa Lembongan, I actually think it's the much, much better option between the two. It's quieter, more beautiful, and has less traffic. CeninganResort is located approximately 500m on the left side of the yellow bridge on Nusa Ceningan, the smallest of the 3 Nusa islands. Trucks currently cannot get across the bridge to Nusa Ceningan. If you are on a scooter you can ride across the Yellow Bridge, however if you are on the back of a taxi truck, you will need to walk across the Yellow Bridge (about 200m) and get another taxi on Nusa Ceningan.
